Windham High Peak Bushwhack (B+)

This hike is a true bushwhack. We will be completely off-trail, hiking through wooded areas up the side of the mountain to the col and then over to the summit. Expect steep, rocky inclines and possible small stream crossings. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended over trail runners. We will spend some time on the summit exploring the viewpoints and having lunch/snacks. This will be a moderately paced hike. It’s important that we stay together as a group and we will aim to set a pace that we can all maintain. It’s a steady incline the whole way to the col with occasional rock scrambles and rugged terrain. This time of year can be buggy, so bring head nets if you have them. Everyone will need to sign an ADK waiver form.
