Greetings CQ5 Enthusiasts,
Our April CQ5 Meetup will be held at the American Chemical Society in downtown DC on April 9th from 3 pm to 5 pm. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Please check in at the security desk when arriving.
Schedule:
3 to 3:30 - Attendees Arrive - Meet others that are using CQ5 and discuss your triumphs and defeats.
3:30 - 4:00 - Presentation 1 - CQ5.5 - Dean Macke, Solutions Consultant at Adobe will give an overview of new features and functionality available in version 5.5
4:00 to 4:30 - Presentation 2 - Slate.com CQ5 Implementation Overview (Tentative) - Dan Check, Director of Technology at Slate, and Jeremy Freedman will provide an overview of the Slate.com CQ5 implementation. This presentation will outline reasons Slate chose CQ5, key editorial requirements and architectural decisions, along with a demo of widgets and other custom functionality used to extend CQ5.
4:30 to 5:00 - Questions and Open Discussion/Brainstorming - Ask the presenters questions along with an open mike for attendees to ask questions to the entire group.
