The current political and social climate means there is conflict all around us. This last year has increased social engagement on issues that impact disadvantaged communities, and as a result the calls for leadership to make impactful changes has gotten louder. Amongst those demands for community-focused change are opportunities to introduce the public to alternative dispute resolution as a means to achieve proactive and preventive results as opposed to reactionary responses.

This online event will explore mediation through the lens of social justice. In that context we will discuss how to use conflict resolution to identify community concerns, mediate for change and bring people together to develop and implement resolutions.
