Understanding Parallelism in the Data Factory ForEach Activity - Meagan Longoria
Details
This session is mainly in-person, but if you need a Teams link, I can send you one on the morning of the event. The first half hour of the in-person meeting will be networking over pizza. The presentation will start after that.
This session digs into how the ForEach activity in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric orchestrates work and what that means for end-to-end runtime as well as required resources. We’ll look at how the default parallelism behaves, the effects of setting the batch count property, and when it’s beneficial to run inner activities serially instead of in parallel
