What we’re about
Want to have fun playing soccer like you did when you were a kid? Whether you play regularly or you've never kicked a ball in your life, you're probably looking for the same things: fun, safety, exercise, friendly faces, and maybe some skill building.
If so, then this is the group for you!
Group Rules -
- We are a group dedicated to providing an outlet to learn and play soccer for all skill levels. This includes beginners, novices, and people who have never touched a soccer ball. Individual events will be labeled with a "Skill Level" to help you decide which are the best fit.
- When attending a game, please bring a white and black shirt if possible. We will be playing games, and the easiest way to split up teams is shirt color.
- We are just a burgeoning community group with little resources. We are using fields we believe are free. If we show up and another group is using the field, especially if they have a permit, then sorry, but all we can do is ask your understanding.
- No recruiting for organized teams in this group online
- We will play no contact soccer or play fun soccer-related games and activities. Not light contact, NO contact. It's an outdoor sport where people run, so inevitably people will bump into each other by accident. But anyone showing a lack of regard for the safety of others will be asked to leave.
- Please respect the attendance limit on the events. If the meeting is full and you are on the waitlist that does not mean come anyway. If we end up with 50 people on a small park field we won't be playing soccer that anyone will find enjoyable. Conversely, if you have a spot and will not be able to come, please cancel in the event so someone on the waitlist can come.
