What we’re about
This weekly one-hour processing group is designed for adults who identify as first, second, or third-generation immigrants and are seeking a supportive space to share experiences and explore identity. The group provides an opportunity to discuss themes such as navigating the current political climate, acculturation, assimilation, intergenerational expectations, cultural values, cultural traumas, and the challenges of balancing multiple identities.
Through open dialogue and shared reflection, participants will have the chance to connect with others facing similar experiences, reduce isolation, and build resilience. The group will be facilitated with a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, honoring each participant’s background and personal story.
