Hiking: Whiting Ranch and Red Rock Canyon (Lake Forest)

Come with us as we go to Orange County in Lake Forest to hike Whiting Ranch. We will get something to eat at the nearby eateries afterwards. Whiting Ranch features a host of local animals, reptiles, birds and also riparian, oak woodland, grassland, chaparral, and coastal sage scrub environments throughout various canyons and hillsides.

Red Rock Canyon is definitely a sight to see. Take proper hiking apparel, hiking shoes, a hat, water, snacks, binoculars, camera/phone and check weather conditions to see if jacket is needed.

We will leave from Calvary Chapel Old Towne Orange near the Singles Room 28 at 11:30 A.M. Saturday morning. We will caravan up, carpool or you can meet us there at 12:15 pm at the entrance near the Ralphs Supermarket at 26751 Portola Pkwy, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610.
