Lunch will be from Board and Brew and include classic turkey sandwich and chips. For dessert, an ice cream sandwich.

We are looking forward to Honoring Military with you on Friday, May 29th, at 11 am, in The Edge venue at the Vista Campus. We are excited to welcome Body and Soul Line Dancers, and we encourage you to bring your dancing shoes!

Our guest speakers will be Elliott and Veronda Powell. Elliott is a veteran with 26 service as a Navy Captain and commanded four warships over the course of his military career. He was the first African-American director of the White House Situation Room, overseeing the 24/7 operation of the President's Operations Center. Veronda retired from the federal government after 23 years of service in 2013, as a Management Analyst. She managed several programs at the Pentagon and served by her husband's side as an officer's wife over various assignments.
