Sunset Skate

Hey skaters! Let's try this again, as we've had to reschedule twice due to rain. This is a peaceful paved path, 1.2 mile loop, that winds around playgrounds, the mills river, and pastures. This is a mostly flat path. There are two hills, one small and one medium, connecting the two parts of the paths together. You can choose to skate either side or connect the two together. This is a great place to roller skate and catch the sunset! There's lots of parking, but you can find us parked in the back, past the library, by the basketball courts. There is a gravel parking lot off the gravel road available near the bottom path, if you are a beginner skater and are not ready to take hills yet. You can also pack shoes and walk to the bottom of the larger hill. The bathrooms are by the playground, and there are plenty of park benches to rest and chat. Bring water, your protective gear, and a sweatshirt. There could be a nice breeze that can be cold at times.
