What we’re about
This group is for Adults living in the East Midlands area who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The aim is to set up social events for people with Autism to attend so that we can support each other with the difficulties that we face. Face to face meetup events will take place in Nottingham and other locations in East Midlands initially once per month. There will be links to zoom groups also regular which is hosted by our sister group Adults with Autism- West Midlands, feel free to join these too!
The group is intended only for the people with autism over the age of 18.
I am setting up this group as support network for adults who are also on the spectrum. My intention is that we will be able to form friendships and help each other over come the difficulties we face in a world that struggles to understand us.
