RHadoop - Scaling the R Language for BIG Data Analyisis

Hello East Bay Biggies,

We have scheduled another exciting presentation for the month of October.

Antonio Piccolboni, BIG Data Analytics Consultant will be presenting this month on 29th October.

In this talk he shall cover overview of RHadoop followed by two ways to implement mapreduce programs in R

1. Using rmr2, that offers a functional interface to Mapreduce

2. Using plyrmr, that offers a more SQL-like abstraction.
