First meetup

The informal meetup has been changed to a full sized meetup with two interesting speakers. We will also have some beer and pizza so you wont go hungry or thirsty.

Speakers
Tomas Cervenka is the CTO at VisualDNA (http://visualdna.com/) which uses Hive extensively. He will present an introduction to Hive with EMR including real life use cases.

Philip Tromans is a scientific engineer at struq (http://struq.com/) and uses Hive every day. He will outline their data pipeline and share his hands on tips on how to optimize Hive and Hive queries.

Tuesday the 10th of July at 6:30 pm. Talks will start by 7 pm so come early for some drinks, food, and networking.
