The Mission:
"This is a community of Adventist Men and Women who are moving beyond 'waiting' and into Becoming. We are taking full advantage of this allotted time to inhabit our lives fully—seeking God, connecting wholesomely, and obediently trusting the Architect to lead our relationships with divine wisdom.
The Watchman’s Posture:
Inspired by Ezekiel 33, we stand as 'Watchmen' for one another. In a world full of noise, we guard our peace and keep our eyes stayed on the Narrow Path. We aren’t just looking for events; we are looking to grow in Substance while enjoying the vibrant life God has given us.
Our Foundation:
Our Motto is Matthew 6:33: 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' We believe that as we prioritize the Kingdom, the 'added things'—the relationships, the promises, and the joy—naturally follow.
What We Do:
Finding Christian-based connection in NYC isn't always easy, so we’ve created a space for it! We connect through:
- Cultural events, museums, and dining.
- Game nights, bowling, and book discussions.
- Wednesday Night Bible Studies on Instagram.
- Global online connections and a host of social/spiritual gatherings.
The Goal:
We are here to foster the nine attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We ask ourselves: Does my fruit look appetizing? We strive for love, joy, peace, and self-control in everything we do.
Our Declaration:
'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly' (Psalm 84:11).
