What we’re about

This is a meetup group of Adventist Men and Women who are now taking advantage of our single lives. We are using this allotted time to seek God, Connect with each other and obediently trust God to lead all of our relationships with divine wisdom. We are mature, 21 years old and over, share social and spiritual events with people that share the same faith. Finding events in NYC that are Christian based is not easy and available. This is why this group was created...for you and me! Though NY based, this group extends to all parts of this world. Christians do connect wholesomely and we do have all the fun!

The Motto for this group comes from Matt 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you".

The ultimate goal is to foster the nine attributes of the holy spirit thru our connections and our participation of cultural events, museums, dining, game nights, Wednesday night bible studies on Instagram, bowling, pool, book discussions, plays, and a host of online events as a result of new social media norms. Of course your ideas are also welcomed. Remember we are apart of one Body of Christ.
Question?...Does your fruit of the Spirit look appetizing? Notice it is “fruit" of the Spirit, not “fruits". Our fruit of the spirit is one piece with many different characteristics. We know the fruit is: “Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare according to the word of God: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly ( Psalm 84:11).
