Sunset Hike & Overnight Desert Camping - (optional)

🥾 Difficulty: Beginner-Friendly Scenic loop · Gentle elevation · Great views · Suitable for ages 10+
📍 Distance: 5–6 km
⏱ Duration: 2–3 Hours
🗺 Plan: 45-minute drive from Dubai to the first meeting point, followed by a short 15-minute drive to the trailhead. The Hike starts at 5:00 PM.
Campers are welcome - As the sun dips below the dunes, set up camp, breathe in the desert air, and let the evening unfold.
Preparation for Hike
🎒 What to Bring

• 🧣 Scarf — Essential to protect against wind and blowing sand
• 🕶️ Sunglasses — Must-have for the sandy conditions
• 🔦 Headlamp — Mandatory. Mobile torch is not acceptable
• 🧥 Layers — Wear full sleeves for protection against sun and sand
• 💧 Water — Carry 1–2 litres plus energy drinks or juice to replenish salts
• 👟 Desert Shoes — Proper footwear is essential for sandy terrain
• 🍎 Snacks — Fruits, dry fruits, or energy bars to keep you fuelled
• 🩹 First Aid Kit — A basic kit is a must

• ⛺ Tent, sleeping bag, chairs & mats
• 💧 Water, snacks & a meal to share
• 🔦 Flashlight / lantern & power bank
• 🗑️ Trash bags — keep the desert clean!

Transportation

• 🚗 Any car can reach the hike start point — self-drive recommended.
