## πΊ Event Plan
- Drive approximately 45 minutes from Dubai and arrive before sunset.
- Begin the hike at 5:45 PM.
- Explore scenic desert lakes and watch for birds and other wildlife.
- Enjoy the desert sunset before continuing with a guided night walk using headlamps.
- Experience cooler evening temperatures while exploring the surrounding desert.
- Return to the vehicles after approximately three hours.
## π What to Bring
π¦ Headlamp or torch β mandatory
A proper headlamp or torch is essential for safe navigation after sunset. Mobile-phone lights are not Suitable.
- Full-sleeve shirt and full-length trousers
- 2β3 litres of water or fluids
- Hiking shoes or boots suitable for sand
- Snacks, fruit, or energy bars
- Basic personal first-aid kit
- Scarf or Buff β recommended
- Sunglasses β recommended
- Insect repellent β recommended
- Binoculars for wildlife watching β optional
## πΎ Wildlife and Desert Safety
- Observe wildlife quietly and from a safe distance.
- Do not feed, chase, touch, or disturb animals or birds.
- Stay with the group and follow the trip leaderβs instructions.
- Be alert for desert wildlife, including snakes and scorpions.
- Use your headlamp after sunset and remain on the designated route.
- Keep hydrated throughout the hike.
- Avoid leaving food, plastic, or other waste behind.
## π Transportation
- This is a self-drive event.
- Any regular vehicle can reach the meeting point.
- Participants needing transport may contact the organisers regarding possible carpool availability.
