Join a small group of like-minded hikers for a relaxed early-morning hike on Ascension Day (Thursday, May 14th) and catch a beautiful sunrise just outside Vienna. Perfect for beginners or anyone who enjoys a peaceful start to the day.
🌄 WHAT TO EXPECT
We start at Mödling train station and follow a scenic route through hills, forests, and viewpoints in the Föhrenberge Nature Park:
- Alongside Mödlingbach stream💧
- Aqueduct + climbing areas 🧗
- Gentle ascent through beech forest 🌳
- Sunrise at Hussar Temple 🌅 (05:16)
- Breakfast break 🥪
- Matterhörndl rock formation ⛰️
- Mödling Castle ruins 🏰
- Scenic black pine forest trails 🌲
- Finish back at Mödling train station 🚉
