Trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal-the Manaslu Circuit -a slide presentation

A multi-week trek in the Himalayas, the mother of all mountain ranges, is on the bucket list of every serious trekker. The Himalayas have most of the highest mountains in the world, including Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Manaslu, and Annapurna I. But more than just striking mountains, the Himalaya range is home to hundreds of small villages where people live close to the land and Tibetan Buddhism is a ubiquitous presence. This slide show and talk by Chris Corbett, longtime Oklahoma hiker and trekker, will not only be of interest people who love to hike and might aspire to international trekking, but also to anyone who just wants to learn about new lands and interesting cultures.
