Exploring the Wichita Mountains

Initial meeting spot is the refuge visitor center. Has toilets

Hike to Elk Mountain summit if there is available parking. Trail might change if needed. But same idea… is hike at least 5 miles. In the visitor center there is a photo album w pictures that we could mutually decide on backup hiking locations. I have never been a situation where I did not know how to get back to vehicle.

Open to eating together after. Open ended on ending time. Depends on how fast we walk/people stop and take photos. No one gets left behind.
