Mountain Hike near Xianju 仙居 & Stay in Hidden village - Fantastic Nature Getaway

Hey Adventurers!

As you may know, we HATE those touristic places and always try to find beautiful remote places.

We are going to a hidden village near Xianju, surrounded by mountains and rice terrace. The atmosphere there is very particular, dreamy & calm. It is known as the "Shangri-La of East China".

So if you want nature, outdoor activity and meet new friends, this is a great opportunity!

• Bus driving from Shanghai: 6 hours

• Accommodation: Local guesthouse or tent

*** What's the plan?? ***

Day 1 Friday November 14th

19:00 Gathering at Zhongshan Park (exit 3 of line 3/4 in front of the 7eleven, under the elevated subway, Crossroad Kaixuan road and Changning road 凯旋路长宁路) & leave Shanghai

02:00 Arrive at the village and have a good sleep

Day 2 Saturday 15th

7:00 Wake up and breakfast

8:00 Hike for 2 hours and get to the village.

Good news is, we don’t need to carry the backpacks for the rest of the day! Hehe just need to take lunch and water.

10:30 Go to the top of the mountain and have lunch on the way.

17:00 Back to the village and free time

18:00 Nice Dinner cooked by local guesthouse chefs, we deserve it!

19:00 until late Bonfire party night! Drink baijiu? haha

Day 3 Sunday 16th

6:00 Get up and have breakfast

7:00 Pack our stuff and go for hike. The route is approximately 6 hours.

13:00 Lunch and free chill out time in the village

14:00 Time to go home :(

600 yuans (of which 200 yuans prepayment)

ATTENTION: additional 50RMB/person to share a room in the guesthouse if you don’t have a tent.

How to pay deposit?

• Alipay

• Bank transfer

• Cash. You can deliver the deposit directly to either me (JingAn district) or Miller (C3 Xintiandi)

Included in the price:

• Transportation fees and driver’s allowance

• Organizing and guide fees

• Professional outdoor insurance and first aid kit

• Saturday dinner & Sunday's breakfast and lunch.

Not Included:

• Accommodation if you don’t have a (+50RMB/person to share a room for Friday and Saturday night guesthouse)

• Alcoholic drinks and other expenses not mentioned

FAQ:

>> will it be very cold? It's starting to get cold, especially at night. If you choose camping, you need to have a sleeping bad for 0-5 degree. If you choose the guesthouse, you can consider bringing your own extra sleeping bag.

>> will we have to carry our bag/tent all the time? we will carry the bags 2 hours on saturday morning and on sunday. You can prepare a smaller bag for saturday noon/afternoon just to bring food and water.

>> will there be shower? yes at the guesthouse. If you sleep in tent you might need to pay 10 yuans for shower

>> can we buy water during the trip? Yes at night we will be able to buy water.
