When the Summer breeze is behind us, we'll set up some basic sails and enjoy the views as we're propelled along by nature - this is a thrill not to be missed! There are opportunities to enjoy wild swims with new friends in sparkling waters and in the evenings we wild camp on the shores of lochs.
The Canoe Scotland Adventure is capped off with a huge sense of achievement and will really make your Summer one to remember.

Ghyll is a Norsk word used in the Lake District (inherited from the Vikings) that means 'mountain stream'. Challenge yourself with a ghyll scramble where we provide you with wetsuits, buoyancy aids and other equipment then follow the ghyll upstream. There are plenty of fun challenges along the way, including plunge pools, slides, scrambles and waterfalls.
Other activities during the weekend include canoeing or kayaking on Windermere, the leap of faith high challenge, and a vertical assault course. All specialist equipment is provided throughout the weekend, as well as accommodation, various meals, professional instructors for activities, and of course an Adventure Solos host who is present throughout the event.Find out how to join your first hike with us for FREE when you sign up to the mailing list.

A limited number of tickets are available now at:
https://www.AdventureSolos.com/day-events/shutlingsloe-day-hikeAt 506m, Shutlingsloe rises proudly above the rolling hills of the Cheshire countryside. It is a striking and distinctive peak, often referred to as the "Matterhorn of Cheshire".
It offers some of the finest panoramic views in the region.
We also enjoy the beautiful Macclesfield Forest, and seeing alpacas at the farm along the way is common on our circular walk.
The walk takes around 4.5 hours and we walk at a steady pace.
A moderate/high level of fitness is recommended for ascending a relatively sharp 200m climb to the top.Unlike most groups, all Adventure Solos walks are lead by a qualified Mountain Leader and First Aider (usually Chris from Adventure Solos) and you will meet a lovely bunch of people in their 30s, 40s & 50s.

https://www.AdventureSolos.com/day-events/shutlingsloe-day-hike - Potter Tarn Walk (& Optional Dip) Lake District by Adventure SolosLA8 9LR , Kendal
A limited number of tickets are available now at:
https://www.AdventureSolos.com/day-events/potter-tarn-day-hikeThis walk has it all; a train station, gentle walking (not too far not steep), the possibility of a swim to cool down and a 700 year old tower!
Better still - we can pop in for some food or drink from a selection of well known local spots to quench our thirst, cool down or warm ourselves up at the end, depending what the weather has offered!
The hike is just over 6.1 miles (9.8km) and after passing St Mary's Tower, follows The Dales Way, The River Kent and passes two different lakes in the hills; Potter Tarn and the picturesque Gurnal Dubs. The latter is our spot for a break and optional swim before completing the loop back around to Staveley.
The highest point on this route is 300m, and we start at approximately 100m, so there are no major hills to ascend or descend on the walk. The walk takes around 4.25 hours including a swim stop.
We walk at a steady pace for this hike; a low/moderate level of fitness will suffice. If you are entering the water, you should do so slowly, you mustn't stay in for long and you should have additional clothing and snacks to help you warm up afterwards.
Please note that any swimming is subject to conditions being deemed suitable by your Adventure Solos host & leader.Book your spot, and join the WhatsApp group for the event, by booking here now:
