Welcome Adventurers !
Based in the heart of Polk county, we are a community of active 55+ explorers who believe that Florida’s best treasures are found on foot.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between coasts . While our roots are in Lakeland and Winter Haven areas , we love venturing to the coastal areas like Tarpon Springs , and visiting historic areas of central Florida.
Our signature stepping adventures included:
*1 Nature and forest bathing :.hidden lakeside trails to botanical
gardens
*2 History and heritage walks : discover “ Old Florida” with walking tours of historic downtowns, murals and heritage sites
*3 Scenic trail and coastal walks : enjoy scenic walks from rail trails to
parks and preserves or walk along Gulf coast
*4 Beyond the trails : Coffee and connection . We will be hosting
coffee meets to foster friendships that make our journeys special
** ALL fitness levels are welcome . We offer something for all from
city strolls to more moderate trail walks

Adventure Steppers is growing ! We now have 2 hubs to help you
find events closer to your home. You are welcome to join our
Oxford based sister group : Adventure Steppers 55 + . This
group visits coast to coast and Marion, Lake and Sumter counties
