Hi, everyone!

We are going on an easy spring hike to Ferdinand Warte (from Palt near the Danube). Expect to see the Marillengärten with apricot blossom, a blooming natural spectacle. The hike is about 14 km long with roughly 400 meters of elevation gain. It's forecasted to be partially sunny with 10°C, and 25% change of rain. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather.

👋 Meeting:

  • In Vienna with Gina:

We will meet at 11:05 at the Wien Westbahnhof Train Station (start of platform 3). Take train CJX5 to St Polten at 11:18. And then transfer to train R44 at 12:06 to Palt arriving there at 12:36.
Start of the hike from Palt Bhf at around 12:40.

  • In Linz with Chris:

We will meet at 11:00 at the Linz Main Train Station (Linz Hbf). Take train to St Polten. And then transfer to train R44 at 12:06 to Palt arriving there at 12:36. Car pooling also possible.

▶ Activities:
The hike is about 14 km long, and involves about 400 meters of altitude difference. It should take us about 4-5 hours to complete it, with smaller breaks
