Hike & Mountaincart 🥾 Mönichkirchen Erlebnisalm

Hi, everyone!

We're heading out on a day trip to Mönichkirchen Erlebnisalm this Sunday. A relaxed mountain day with an easy hike, alpine views and a Mountaincart ride downhill. The hike is about 8 km long with about 400 m of elevation gain. Forecast: mostly sunny, up to 20°C in the valley. Bring sunscreen, and protective UV clothing

12:00 at Mönichkirchen Erlebnisalm parking/bus stop.

### 🚆 From Vienna by train

10:31 — Wien Meidling → 10:55 — Wiener Neustadt Hbf
11:03 — REX 92 → 11:30 — Aspang Markt
11:35 — Bus 371 → 11:54 — Mönichkirchen Erlebnisalm

🚙 Carpooling from Wien Liesing:
10:45 at Wien Liesing Bhf – we'll be carpooling from there (please sound off in the comments/chat if you need a ride or you can offer a ride).

What we'll do all of us together
🚠 Cable car up to the Erlebnisalm.
🥾 Easy hike: around 8 km / 400 hm, with alpine scenery and views.
🎢 Mountaincart downhill after the hike. Ticket is separate.
🍽️ Optional food/drinks at the Erlebnisalm.
We'll aim to leave around 5-6pm or earlier.

🔙 Return to Vienna
18:00 — Bus 371 → 18:20 Aspang Markt
18:30 — REX 92 → 19:26 Wien Meidling

• Wear sturdy, comfortable, water-resistant hiking shoes
• Dress in weather-appropriate layers
• Pack snacks and plenty of water
• Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat;
