Join us on this hiking adventure as we head to the coast for the best of Dorset

4 day/ 3 night adventure
Female only group
May 10th - 13th
Arrive Friday early afternoon leave Monday late afternoon.

Dorset offers diverse landscapes from rugged coastlines to rolling hills. Trails like the South West Coast Path showcase dramatic cliffs and picturesque villages, while landmarks such as Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast reveal the region's rich history. We will explore Dorset's serene countryside with its breathtaking vistas and hidden coves, making every hike a memorable adventure.

Itinerary:
Friday

We will meet at the location for our first hike
@ 1pm We will head out for hike - Corfe Castle
Distance: 7 miles / 11km
Time: 3.5 hours walking
Ascent: 300 meters
Grade: Easy
Check in at Accommodation
Dinner will be in the local Pub.

Saturday

Breakfast
Head out for hike 2 - Worth Matravers & Kingston
Distance: 12.5 miles / 20 km
Time: 8 -9 hours walking
Ascent: 700 meters
Terrain: Hill & Moorland
Grade: Hard
(This walk has the option to do the first half only if you want to make it shorter)
Lunch on the go.
Evening Dinner and Socialising in local town*

Sunday

Breakfast
Hike 3 - Old Harry’s Rocks
Distance: 10 miles / 16 km
Time: 4-5 hours walking
Ascent: 276 meters
Grade: Medium
Evening dinner and socialising in local area.

Monday

Breakfast
Hike 4 - Lulworth Cove
Distance: 8.5 miles / 14 km
Time: 4-5 hours walking
Ascent: 479 meters
Grade: Medium
After this walk we say our good byes and head home.

Accommodation
We will be staying in YHA hostel. Accommodation is shared rooms with bunkbeds and share bathroom. Self Catering kitchen facilities

Qualified guides/ first aiders
Hosts on hand throughout trip.

Start of first hike TBA
You will need your own transportation to and from the activities.
Full kit list and welcome pack will be provided.

Preparation and Level:
This hike is of a moderate / hard difficulty level, featuring some steep gradients. You're responsible for your own health and safety, and it's important to be physically capable of hiking continuously for 8 hours. To join the hike, make sure you're dressed appropriately, as inappropriate attire will result in non-participation.

Safety and Guidelines:
Our guided walks are led by certified walking leaders who are Outdoor First Aiders through Mountain Training UK. Please note that no dogs are permitted on our walks.
Adventure Women is an all-female activity group.

Walk Grades:
Easy: Mostly flat, under 10 miles, suitable for beginners.
Medium: Inclines, over 10 miles; challenging but doable for most beginners.
Hard: Steep inclines and/or over 15 miles; requires some walking/hill fitness.
Challenging: Tougher terrain, unsteady ground, hilly, remote areas, full days out; not for beginners.
