🎄 About the Hike
Join us for a festive adventure in one of the most beautiful corners of the Surrey Hills. This 15.5 km circular route from Holmwood Station weaves through peaceful woodland, rolling hills and atmospheric forest paths, taking in Wotton Common, Abinger Forest and the scenic slopes around Leith Hill.
🎅 Santa hats are very much encouraged — go on, bring the sparkle!
We’ll begin with gentle woodland trails before gradually climbing towards Wotton Common, where big Weald views open up across the landscape. The route continues through Abinger Forest, full of quiet winter beauty, before heading towards the higher ground around Leith Hill.
Near the summit area, we’ll pause for an optional festive hot drink — a cosy seasonal stop with lovely views — before looping back through forest paths and open field edges to return to Holmwood Station.
