Come and Join us and explore the amazing landscapes and picturesque fields of Kent.

We will make our way from Sevenoaks Station up to Knole House which was built in the 15th Century, and is one of Englands largest houses, boasting a bedroom for each day of the year.
Following on we will explore the ancient 1000 acres Knole Deer Park, and Ingtham Mote which is a grade 1 listed medieval moated manor house.

This is an area of outstanding beauty, you will be surounded by stunning open space in this expansive stretch of the Greensands Way.
Laurie Lee described this area as “the rolling tidal Landscape of Kent"

You will understand why the beatles filmed promotional videos for “Penny Lane and “Strawberry Field Forever”.

The park is home to over 350 wild deer of which we will have plenty of photo opportunities.

Inghtham Mote has been described as “one of the most beautiful and interesting of English Country Houses” and is one of the original moated medieval manor houses.
The hike takes us through a stunning stretch of wide open space to explore this 1,000 acre deer park, passing by Knole House and Ingthham Mote where there is a cafe, if open, this is our half way stop for lunch.

Please bring your own lunch and water.

After lunch we hike up to explore a wonderful stretch of Greensand Way, this area is named after the sandstone ridge, which crosses Hampshire, Surrey and Kent one of a series of ridges running west to east across Southeast England. Much of this route passes through ancient and semi mature woodland displaying amazing sights of spring. The walk finishes with a pretty stretch back through the grounds of Knole park on the otherside.
