This event is very popular and is expected to sell out fast because it's the final Bank holiday WEEKEND for this year 2023.

Only 1 spaces left available for this event. Most people will take the car option Friday morning and some will take the train option on Friday evening to Wales and return to London Monday Flexible return date however most people will stay there for 3 nights until Monday morning.

I have the Camping option and the hostel option for this event.

I have booked 7 beds in a key strategically located YHA hostel. The best hostel in Wales Snowdonia. 1 spaces remaining on the hostel option. Will probably sell out by this weekend.

The Camping site is 25 minutes drive by car from the official hostel accommodation. So people in the hostel accommodation can still access the camping site for the Campfire in the evening.

Final trip to Mount Snowdon and snowdonia this Year

This is the best time of year to do this event. Weather forecast will be better than other months during the year.

This event is advertised on other meetup groups. So other people attending will join this event from 2 other meetup groups

Smaller manageable groups and smaller manageable rucksacks are now on the agenda.

To reserve a spot for yourself on this event you will need to make a deposit payment of £160 at least 2 weeks before the event starts.

TRAVEL

One group leaving by car Friday morning or Friday evening and a second group taking the Train option at 5 pm from London Euston st pancreas station.

If you can't take Friday off from work you can travel by train at 5 pm to arrive in Wales at 8:30 pm. Approximately. And the host will collect you by car from the train station.

Return is flexible. You can either return on Sunday evening by train or Monday evening by train or car. Monday is a Bank holiday weekend. Looking for 1-2 other extra drivers.

Deposit payment is required to secure a place. Event is advertised on 2 other meetup groups. So more people will attend from another meetup group.

Drivers bringing a car get the trip almost half price.

Leaving London Friday Evening 🌞 and return to London Monday evening. Monday is a Bank holiday weekend so you don't need to to take Monday off.

HIKE DETAILS

Hiking Level:

Good levels of fitness is required. This is not a walk in the park.

Difficulty

Intermediate. Not easy. But not difficult. Elevation hiking involved.

You will be expected to do approximately 8 hours of actual hiking per day on both Saturday and Sunday.

On BOTH Saturday and Sunday you will be hiking up the Mount snowdon from 2 different directions and coming back down from different routes. The guide will guide you. Different paths and ranges have different levels of spectacular scenery.

You just need to bring good suitable Hiking shoes and packed lunch boxes and rucksack and appropriate clothing for the weather forecast and the weather conditions for the mountains.

Limited numbers 10 people maximum.

Looking for an extra 1 or 2 drivers bringing their own car. Petrol money will be covered.

Costs

The costs below covers your accommodation transport and food costs and your hiking guide fee and logistics involved. Your pub food and pub dinner in the evening is not included in the total costs.

Your breakfast and packed lunch is included in the total costs for this trip.

Camping option is £325 all inclusive. 1 space left.

Hostel Option is £365 per person. Lunch and breakfast included. 3 nights stay in a YHA hostel. 1 Space remaining. Dinner in the evening is in the pub not included in the total costs.

YHA hostel accommodation for 3 nights has already been paid for in advance.

Your dinner will be at a local pub will be on you. This is not covered by the host. However if you don't fancy pub food there might be an alternative option available. I will bring some supermarket food for you to cook at the hostel kitchen it the campsite.

The cost includes everything including breakfast and packed lunches which you prepare in the morning in the kitchen at the hostel. Your accommodation and transportation and all logistics involved are all covered and included. Such as transfers from the hostel to the train station. Plus shopping for supplies. This is all included in the overall costs.

Your dinner in the evening will be at local pub which is not included in the overall costs. You will get to socialise in the pub with group In the evenings after the hike. On both Saturday night and Sunday night. Monday morning we check out and go for a short walk in a local village and then head back to London by train or by car.

I stress that pub dinner in the evening is not covered by the package price. The only thing I will be providing you with in terms of food is breakfast and packed lunch which you will need to prepare in the morning yourself. The ingredients for packed lunches will be provided. Snacks are not included.

All transport food and accommodation included in the package price. Plus transfer and logistics costs and organisers fees and Hiking fees. All included.

Package price includes your Hiking guide fee and service charge fee plus any travel insurance the organiser has taken out for the trip. The trip has insurance as a whole. But as an individual your health on the trip has zero insurance. Be aware of the terms of the insurance.

The event organiser and your Hiking guide is an experienced and qualified mountain climber with years of experience. Also qualified and trained in the administration of first aid should anything happen.

The host and organiser is not responsible for anyone's health and safety and wellbeing. Each participant is responsible for his own health and safety and wellbeing. By taking part you understand that your health insurance and your travel insurance is your individual responsibility.

By participating you do understand that on long distance trips like this things can go wrong and nothing is guaranteed to go smoothly but when things do go wrong we will try our best to rectify them and make them right. Within reason. As risks are involved. Such as bad weather or traffic jam en route or delays due to a punctured tyre or something like this happening.
