Kaza, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaza,_Himachal_Pradesh) the sub-divisional headquarters (capital) of the Spiti Valley is situated along the Spiti River at an elevation of about 12,500 feet (3,800 m) above mean sea level at a Distance of about 200 kms from Manali.
