Hike around Lake Johnson
But people are normally late for a Christmas Day Hike. We allow 30 minutes to assemble in the parking lot then drive down as a group. If one parking lot is full, then we drive as a group to the next parking lot.
11:15 to 11:30 AM meet for hike in front of the Boat House/ Snack Shop, then we are going to our right across the bridge if late park at the parking lot across the bridge to the left
Directions: From 440 Beltline take Gorman Street exit. Turn north on Gorman. After 1 mile, turn right on Avent Ferry Road, go 1.5 miles and on the right is the Waffle House in Mission Valley Shopping Center behind Sammy's and Burger King after Centennial Parkway light.

From Wake Forest , Zebulon and Durham allow for 45 minutes.
From Fayetteville allow hour and 45 minutes
From Goldsboro allow for 1 hour and 25 minutes
There will be different groups coming.Distance is 3 miles & 2 hills.
Dogs on leashes are welcomed.
Elementary students or older are welcome.
