Last Minute Walk to Sola Coffee Cafe

We’ll walk briskly clockwise around Shelley Lake, then take the Bent Creek Spur and the Mine Creek trail to Sawmill Road. About 8 minutes uphill on sidewalk will get us to the coffee shop at the intersection of Sawmill and Leadmine. There we will buy our favorite beverages and hang out for about a half hour before retracing our steps home. Total is right at 6 miles. This is not all paved and there is one somewhat challenging spot in the walk. We should see Great Blue Herons, maybe deer, possibly an eagle at the lake.
