Let's go Kayaking at 11 Mile Reservoir!

Please note we are not meeting at the Marina this time. Instead we will meet at the Coyote Ridge parking lot. Instructions below. If you need a day pass you will need to go past our turnoff to the visitor center to purchase one.

We'll meet in the parking lot by 8:30am. There may or may not be cell reception so be sure you're on time or let us know ahead of time if you're running late. We'll plan to be on the water by 8:45. It is about an hour drive from where I live on the West side of Colorado Springs so please plan accordingly.

Unless someone offers below, assume you need to provide your own kayak, paddle and PFD.

Bring water, sunscreen, and snacks or lunch. Adult beverage are perfectly acceptable while kayaking.

Travel west on Highway 24 to just past Lake George and turn Left on Co Rd 90.

After 4 miles turn Left on Co Rd 92.

After about 6 miles turn left on the first road past the Eleven Mile General Store. Continue to the parking lot at the end of the road. Look for my Red Ford Edge SUV.

11 mile is a State Park so if you do not have a state park pass there will be an $9 per vehicle fee. I've been told it is easier to purchase a one day pass with cash.
