Hunger Game Tryouts (a.k.a. Archery 101)
Details
Because of the long wait list for the class on the 9/17, I added another class. This is a repeat event. Those who went before or who have previous training will do some more advanced training. First timers will start with the introductory class. Please indicate in your RSVP if you have been trained previously.

Cost: http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif $8.00. They charge in order to accommodate groups and provide enough instructors Note: They offer free classes on Saturday mornings on a first come first serve basis starting at 7:45am. For those that don't mind the modest fee, want to sleep in and hang with the group, then signup. Payments are made thru Amazon once you RSVP. If you would rather use Paypal then let me know.
What to Wear: http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif Weather conditions vary widely during a day at the range. Participants should dress in layers. Wear clothes with non-bulky, snug-fitting sleeves (properly fitted long-sleeve T's and sweatshirts are OK). Clothes must be free of large buttons, pins, badges, or other things on the front that can be caught in the bow string. Bring something to tie back long hair. The range is a woodland area and is uneven, dusty and dirty - footwear with heels or open-toes is not suitable. Participants with long hair should bring a hair band to hold the hair back in a pony tail.
What to Bring With You: http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif A bottle of water - while water is available on the range, it is not convenient to the instruction area. Bring a soft brimmed hat and sunscreen. Particularly important in the summer.
