Time Without Tide Playtest
Details
- We will have an intermission where we break for some food
- What: The moon shattered. The tides stopped. A thick, wrong fog rolled in and swallowed everything past the walls, and it never left. Humanity survived in pockets, spent a few decades grieving, and has only lately started building again.
Delive into dark dungeons in a Grimy Faux-Victorian past that never was. It is a D6 pool system and Chaosium's (Call of Cthulhu) newest RPG. This game is more focused on action and exploration. - Frequency: One Shot
- Cost: No Cost
- Gameplay: You're Delvers — paid to walk out into it with a lantern and come back with something worth the trip. The Saltport council wants Phareflaw Lighthouse burning again. It went dark over Deep Winter and nobody's heard from it since. You'll ride the riverboat Drastic out, land on the beach below, climb the cliffs, get inside, and find out what put the light out.
Expect careful lantern management, because the dark is not empty. Fast, lethal d6 dice-pool combat. Scavenging, rationing, and hard calls about who carries the light. And a world that will rewrite your body whether you asked it to or not. - Who am I: DM Andrew. 48 years old software engineer, been playing TTRPGs most of my life. Recently have DM'd a bunch of 5e online and wanted to get back to real life games.
- Ages: 18+ please.
- Content Warning: Violence / Darkness /
- What to bring: Standard gaming dice, pencil. I will bring extra dice sets and extra pencils. Premade characters can be provided, but players are encouraged to make characters at home in preparation. Level 3
- Where: The Collective
- Module: Something I make up (home brew)
