Get Ready for the Mountains (Moderate hike with load)
Join us for a practical endurance training session designed to build back strength, overall stamina, and backpack carrying efficiency, perfect for those preparing for long-distance hikes and treks.
The Plan -> Marsiling - Mandai T15 - Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Total distance: estimated 15km
### What to Expect
- The Pace: We will maintain a consistent, moderate intensity throughout. This session acts as a benchmark for your training.
- The Goal: Whether you’re training for a specific high-altitude trek or just want to stay "mountain-ready," this hike is about sustaining effort and seeing where you stand.
- The Load: Backpack with at least 5-7kg weight to simulate real conditions

### Logistics
- Option A - 8:00 am. Meet at Marsiling MRT Station Control (we will leave at 8 am sharp)
- Option B - If you like to come earlier for breakfast, meet us at Blk 304 Woodlands St 31 Coffeeshop https://maps.app.goo.gl/S5FapNW61ETHi5D78
We will set off for the hike at 8:30 am sharp from Blk 304 Woodlands St 31 Coffeeshop
### Essential Checklist
- Hydration: Bring a water bottle and ensure it’s topped up before we start.
- Weather Prep: Waterproof your electronics and bring rain gear (poncho, jacket, or umbrella). We hike in light rain, but safety comes first.
- Gear: Hiking poles are optional but helpful for the inclines.
- Safety: In the event of a Category 1 weather warning, I will announce any changes to the plan at least 2 hours prior to the hike.
The 'Waitlist' may not go in order as we reserve the right to prioritize the spots for our trip participants who are training for our upcoming treks. Thank you for your understanding!
