Sail on a Tall Ship

Calling all who fancy a day of sailing! You will be going out on Hardiesse, a 50 foot Ketch with two masts. No sailing knowledge is required as there will be experienced crew sailing the boat for you however you can be involved as much as you want e.g. raising the sails and even helming!

Rain, hail or shine, this event will go ahead whatever the weather decides to do unless it is dangerous to sail.

Here are the details:
Join the Hardiesse sailing club at minimal cost
Make a contribution to the cost of maintaining Hardiesse
If sufficient money is not raised this
will be the last season Hardiesse is able to sail
Please bear in mind that then the commercial rate for sailing on a tall ship is typically £140

When Gabrielle receives the WhatsApp she will give you her bank details The Annual membership fee and the donation must be paid within 2 days of signing up or your place will be released to the next person on the waiting list Sorry if this sounds harsh but last time a number of people messed her around Please include your name as it appears on Meetup as last time it was difficult to match names to people's payment Gabrielle will also require your full name and address for membership of the club.

Facilities: Toilet on board
Meeting Time: 9 30 and ready to depart at 10
Meeting Place: Watersports Pontoon Falmouth
You will be taken in a Tender (small boat) to the Tall Ship
Return Time: between 4 and 5
What to Bring: Packed lunch and drink, warm clothes waterproofs and trainers (even if it’s a nice day as it can get extremely cold on the water).
