Eno State Park Hike

Details
We will meet near the rest rooms in the last parking lot (drive past 6101 Cole Mill Road, Durham, NC, GPS 36.0783, -79.0050, which is the park office and Fews Ford Access). We will start by going on the Buckquarter Creek Trail to the Holden Mill Trail and follow it along along the river which has rock outcrops that we will need to traverse. We will then take the Fieldstone Trail over to the Ridge and Shakori Trails to make a loop, and then return via the Buckquarter Creek Trail back to the parking lot. The terrain is rocky, rooty, muddy and sandy in different places. We will avoid major stream crossings. We will go at about 2.75-3 miles per hour with short breaks. The total hike is approximately 7-8 miles.
