Updated information below as of 3/12/26

Come and be a part of one of THOG’s most ambitious trips. This summer adventure in Maine includes Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, as well as two amazing celestial events- A partial Solar Eclipse and the Perseids Meteor Shower.
This exciting road trip event will be slightly different from other THOG events. We will be partnering with Wanderful Journeys, a local travel club that hosts trips to various destinations. I decided to team up with them so it would provide us with another layer of resources for planning, as well as to enhance the trip experience.
See RSVP requirements below before you register.

Highlights of our weeklong trip will include:
-Hikes in Acadia National Park such as Precipice Trail and Beehive Trail
-Thunder Hole
-Jordan Pond
-Maine Lobster :)
-Lighthouses in Maine
-Viewing the partial Solar Eclipse
-Watching the Perseids Meteor Shower (up to 100 per hour this year)
-Exploring Bar Harbor
