This is a five-day, 42-mile trip in Colorado's San Juan Mountains. We will start at Thirty Mile Trailhead, thirty miles from Creede, CO, passing Grizzly Lake, high peaks, and a section of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The trailhead sits at 9,500 ft elevation, with the highest point reaching 12,500 ft just past the midpoint.

This trip will be non-competitive, collaborative, and fun. We won't be getting up at the crack of dawn to hit the trail — morning coffee is one of the pleasures of backpacking. (There may be the occasional early start to get ahead of afternoon storms.) I carry a satellite communicator for emergencies.

Dates have some flexibility. If there is interest, we can also coordinate rides from the Denver airport.

Message me if you are interested.
