Cane Creek Mountain Natural Area

We will hike the NEW trails (as well as one old trail) at the Cain Creek Mountain Natural Area. We will meet at the PEACH ORCHARD TAILHEAD (NOT the usual place: see below) and hike the Varnals Creek, Mountain View, Lark, and Pioneer Camp trails for a total of 8.25 miles.

The pace will be 2.8-3 miles per hour. It is hilly but well maintained and no major steam crossings.

If there is a good chance of HEAVY RAIN I will cancel by 7am on Monday. Light drizzle will not hold me back.

I also understand that THOG organizers are not required, nor should it be assumed that they are CPR/First Aid/Wilderness Survival Certified and I am responsible for my own personal safety.
