We will mostly hike trails we did not hike last week. We will park at the same place (see below) and hike the Lava Loop, Black Cohosh, Running Cedar, Flat Tail (to the pond we saw), Conservation Corps, and the Manor Connector Trails and a small part of the Springhouse Loop. I estimate the length is 6 - 7 miles and we will walk at 2.75-3 miles per hour. The autumn colors should be at their peak.

The Brumley Nature Preserve has several entrances so please take note that we are meeting at 3501 University Station Road, Google Maps call this "Brumley Nature Preserve Expansion".

You can find a map at the website https://triangleland.org/preserve/george-and-julia-brumley-family-nature-preserve

NOTE: This area is sometimes closed after it has rained. I will check Sunday night and Monday morning and will cancel the hike by 7.30 am on Monday if the are is closed.
