Details

One of my favorite places to eat is "The Melting Pot". Fondue is a fun and interactive dining experience. If you've never before plunged a cube of beef, chicken or seafood into the bubbling goodness within a fondue pot, then dipped them into sauces and savored the delicious results, I confidently predict that you have a real treat in store. This meetup will mimic the type of meal you'd get at this fantastic restaurant and will be a small group gathering. You'll eat tasty morsels, have great fun and maybe meet someone who becomes a friend.

Wisconsin Trio Cheese Fondue & breads

Main Entree
steak, chicken & (my favorite) shrimp
potatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, and onions
dipping sauces

Entree Cooking Style

  1. Coq au Vin: flavors of fresh herbs, mushrooms, garlic, spices and burgundy wine
  2. Court Bouillon Broth

Gorgonzola Port
Green Goddess
plus 2 other special sauces (there have to be some surprises)

Dessert
decadent chocolate-fondue creation with yummy stuff to dip like strawberries, bananas, Rice Krispies Treats®, marshmallows and pound cake

The evening starts at 5:30 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm. Join us at 5:30 to learn how to make the fondue broths; most importantly, learn how to make the dipping sauces (yum yum). We'll wrap up around 9:30 pm.
