Experience the stillness, silence, and solitude as you paddle the pristine rivers that make up the Blackwater Forest. When combined with its neighbors the Conecuh National Forest and Eglin Air Force Base, you have the world’s largest long leaf pine forest. This ancient forest is home to rare species, including the red-cockaded woodpeckers, pitcher plants, and gopher tortoises, just to name a few.
Each day, we paddle a creek or river section, enjoy a riverside picnic lunch, then return to our incredible wilderness campground for a sunset happy hour, an amazing dinner, and time around the campfire.
We have about a dozen rivers to choose from so we will paddle the ones that have enough water to run, the most wildlife, the least amount of people, and the ones with the least amount of blow downs or carry overs.
In past years we have Paddled the Blackwater, Coldwater Creek, Juniper Creek, Yellow River, Sepulga River, Murder Creek, Turkey Creek,and the Big Escambia.
Every night at the campfire the group organizers will announce the next days paddle, what to expect, and what to bring.

**PLEASE READ THEN READ AGAIN:**
The reservation fee for this event is $450. it covers the cost of providing safe shuttles with out confusion, breakfast and dinner each day, your campsite, and guides that have decades of experience on these rivers.

On every paddle there will be a lead paddler and a sweep. It is your responsibility to stay between them at all times while on the water.

All paddlers must wear a PFD and Whistle while on the water.
