Dances at the Bay - Free Hamilton Dance Festival (New Date)

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, one that's easy to carry from site to site for each performance.

HCA Society (formerly HCA Dance + Theatre) is thrilled to present Dances at the Bay, an outdoor dance festival bringing movement, creativity, and community to Hamilton’s Bayfront Park from July 17-19, 2026 at 7:00 PM.
Each festival day also begins with a free line-dancing workshop taught by Arun from Urban Cowboy Line Dancing at 6:30 PM that is beginner friendly and open to all skill levels. Come participate and get moving before enjoying the evening performances.
Enjoy inspiring performances from Canadian dance companies, including Little Pear Garden Dance Co., Frog in Hand, Projects by Zoe Kwan, and special collaborative community dance performances by choreographer Bri Clarke and the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre.
