Bark By the Bay @ Chambers Creek Park (Tacoma)

Bark By the Bay is a fun-filled festival for you and your pooch. It features a 5k walk/run, vendors, food trucks, games, giveaways, and dog sports demos.

Parking is $10 per vehicle and must be purchased online prior to the event. The general festival is free to enter.

5K Meetup Details - If you are walking/running the 5k, we will meet at the start line around 9:15 am.

IMPORTANT: The race is $30/$35 depending on whether you register online before the event or the day of the event. THE PARKING FEE IS INCLUDED IN YOUR RACE TICKET.

The "race: starts at 9:30 am and can be walked or ran. The Chambers Creek Regional Park trail is fully paved and offers challenging hills and stunning views. This race is NOT certified nor 'chip-timed'. Water will be available on the course for both dog and human participants. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Depending on your pace, the course would take 45-90 minutes to complete.

Event Meetup Details - If you are just coming to the event, meet us at the race finish at 1030 am (the festival officially starts at 10 am if you come early).

We will wander to a less crowded area of the festival and mingle together for about 20 minutes. After that, we can split into groups or individuals and wander the event.

Festival entry/attendance rules:

• Dogs must be current on vaccinations
• No aggressive dogs
• No female dogs in heat
• No more than two dogs per human
• Keep your dog on a 7-foot leash or shorter at all times.
• Bring your dog only if he/she is well socialized
• Please, clean up after your dog
• Run or walk the course only if you and your pet are in adequate physical condition
• Strollers are welcome on the course
