Welcome to the Washington Chapter of the Adventurewier Club (TM) brought to you by Jessica, Summit, and Gretel at http://www.YouDidWhatWithYourWeiner.com

This is where adventurous weiner dogs come to have fun and their parents come to exercise with their dog, make new friends and have a good time.

Events include group walks, hikes, play dates, other adventures and meetups related to fitness and weight management of your Dachshund.

Sat, May 3, 2025, 10:00 AM PDTMAY 2025 Greenlake Wiener Dog Walk
Greenlake Small Craft Center, Seattle, WA
Meeting Location: South side of the lake near the golf course, which is across the street from the track/sports field; We will now be waiting to the left of the restrooms near the dock/big cement ramp. Please stay off of the main path while waiting.

Let's get our doggies together and do a lap around Greenlake. It will be like a wiener dog parade!

NOTE: IF YOU RSVP YES AND YOUR PLANS CHANGE, PLEASE COME BACK AND CHANGE YOUR RESPONSE TO "NO".

As usual, we will be walking counter-clockwise around the lake and stopping along the way for a group photo.

The path around Greenlake is flat and paved and is about 2.8 miles. It usually takes us about 1 hour at a moderately brisk pace. We will try to keep the group somewhat together but people sometimes settle into their own smaller groups. We will at some point on the walk and take a group photo.

PLEASE NOTE:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RSVP FOR YOUR DOG AS A "GUEST". IT IS ASSUMED YOU WILL BRING ONE (OR SOME. HA, HA). PLEASE BE SURE TO ONLY RSVP FOR THE HUMANS IN YOUR PARTY TO LEAVE ROOM FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

SplashDog Canine Well-Being Center LLC, Edmonds, WA
Join us for this event - time of community for pups and their people - at the Splashdog facility in Edmonds.

A donation is appreciated to help Kizzie cover the hourly rental fee for the space but not mandatory to attend.

Wait outside the door until you are let in at 6 pm. Please me mindful that there will be dogs, mostly injured and nervous, entering and exiting this facility. Please keep the doorways clear and limit any disruptions.

This is an official event hosted by club Ambassador, Kizzie. She's a lifelong Dachshund lover and author of the children's Tall Tales book series about how Dachshunds can teach children how to appreciate differences.

Please note: Watch your Dachshund's behavior closely and redirect him/her if you see signs of stress in your dog, or any others he/she is interacting with. Any dog that acts aggressively, or causes a problem, will be asked to leave.

Let's meet and play at the Chamber's Bay dog park in Tacoma. After about 30 or 45 minutes of mingling at the dog park (small dog area), we'll walk around the park for about 45 minutes.

The dog park is fully fenced with a bench and restrooms are located nearby.
