Cinema with the Symphony

Details
Your friends at the Southwest Florida Symphony, including their amazing new friend, executive director of the Lee County Black History Society, Autumn Watkins-Holloway, will show the film Green Book on the giant TV in our cozy rehearsal venue, located in unit 175 in the Bell Tower. This all started as a group of Southwest Florida Symphony staff members wanting to gather at someone's home for intimate movie nights, but the group got so big, we decided to invite the whole "neighborhood" and move it to our Artistic & Operations Center!
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at: https://www.swflso.org/tickets/
Before the movie, hang out with Autumn, our wonderful symphony staff and "fan club" to listen to Autumn's talk which will shed light on experiences and challenges faced by black travelers. She'll undoubtedly inspire thought-provoking, healthy dialogue that will lead to deeper understanding of racial equality, social justice and the significance of historical narratives in shaping our local community. Then, settle in with all of us to watch the film. Popcorn, movie snacks, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for a donation.
