A full day of 18xx games!
** New players always welcome! ** No experience needed, just the desire to learn and play!
** First game will start promptly at 11AM. Due to the long time to setup and teach a game, we can't accomodate those who show up later than the 11AM start time (unless there are enough for a second table)! The second/afternoon session will likely start around 5PM, if you'd like to show up later (leave a message here so I can give you a heads up on a more accurate time for the afternoon game start time).

The railroad-themed 18xx genre combines tile-laying, route-building, stock buying/selling, and technology (train) management in a way that results in interactive, dynamic, and emergent game play. These games are deep, complex, and usually quite long (3-6hrs), but offer players meaningful and rewarding decisions. Games in the genre all share common mechanics, making it fairly easy to transition among many different titles--no need to learn an entirely new ruleset with every new title!
