Speechcraft - crash course in Public Speaking

The course is free to members of Toastmasters. If you want to join Toastmasters contact us through Facebook or Toastmasters International Find a club.
The course is on the first Monday of the month (except Jan 1st when it is postponed to Jan 8 and at another venue) and on the third Saturday of the month.

Three sessions to help your confidence, career and life.
1 Introduce yourself with an icebreaker speech. Network and make friends.
2 Impromptu speaking - learn to focus quickly and organise your thoughts and end with a punchline.
3 Pathways - which path to choose from those offered, such as the most popular choice, presentation mastery, on speeches and visual presentations, such as slides and visuals such as videos, and other chances to learn and enhance skills including humorous speaking and blogging and podcasts.

Sat afternoon Dec 21 VIP guest speaker Thomas Chen running a workshop on story telling. Facts tell but stories sell.

Later meetings will cover much more including improving English and PR for yourself, your business, club or charity or event.
Toastmasters clubs meet once, twice or three times a month. they charge from 100 Sing dollars online only to around 500 dollars at a hotel with a buffet. Some struggle to find two speakers and others are booked up for months in advance so you struggle to find a chance to speak. This club is ideal, meeting twice a month, only 180 per year for those renewing or transferring, (plus the 40 dollars joining fee only the first year which gets you the monthly magazine and loads of materials online and videos) guaranteed speaking slot if you sign up for Speechcraft.
You have access to two experienced mentors to advise you on how to write and perform your speech. We and those we trained have won hundreds of ribbons for best prepared speeches, best evaluations and best impromptu speeches. Do come along and bring your friends and families. They will love it. Network, learn, make friends, enjoy the company, entertainment and food.
