Main presentation by Capgemini on Loterie Nationale/Nationale Loterij, Belgium’s leading organizer of lotteries and one of the biggest online gaming platforms. Loterie Nationale/Nationale Loterij turned to AEM sites to merge their 2 separate web platforms - the corporate site and the gaming site, each with their own CMS and user accounts - into one unified platform. The platform is currently used weekly by ~300.000 unique visitors to place 447 million transactions, with a peak sales conversion of 7.850 conversions per minute. We will look into how AEM deals with these challenges of a peak load of 40.000 requests per second on popular draw days, how the hybrid MPA/SPA architecture is set up and which customizations are put in place to ease author experience.

Next Koen Van Eeghem (Adobe) will give a session about Moving to and Modernising with Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service: Built on a container-based infrastructure, API-driven development, and a guided DevOps process, Cloud Service allows IT to focus on strategic business outcomes instead of getting slowed down by operational concerns.
